Filing Bankruptcy and Praying
February 26th, 2009 | by admin |If I were filing bankruptcy I would pray a lot. I already pray a lot so it would not be a new thing for me. I cannot imagine not praying a lot so perhaps your venture into the world of bankruptcy and filing for bankruptcy is a way to motivate you to prayer, maybe it is a call to prayer. I have heard that saying now for many years on the television and on the internet while watching the bombing and the maiming and the destruction of part of the Moslem world by we Americans who have not until now I hope even begun to see those people we are bombing as real people. We are Americans after all. And somehow those people over there are less than we are. That we have destroyed their lives, their families, their communities, their country, infrastructure and possibilities means nothing to us. Well now it signifies something to us. The war we waged to protect ourselves from is here now. We have destroyed our economy, we have destroyed our legal system, we have destroyed our financial system. And in the meantime we have learned that we are not separate from those people over there. We have learned that our lives are entwined. Our roots are the same.
