Call up the credit card companies or write them and tell them that you want to pay it off but you can only send in so much a month. You need to talk to them so they can work with you, remember they want your money even if its just $20/month.

right on, you have enough integrity to payoff what you promised to pay. heres how the rich people pay off their credit cards.
1) Take all your credits balances and list them all balance and minimum payments
chase 4500 400
bofa 3200 250
Wellsfargo 1200 60
furniture 800 10
2) your monthly payment 720 call each one and ask what is your minimum payment you can make without being late.
3)it’s usually half of what you originally pay, they just want your interest payment to be made each monht.
4) take that monthly 720 that you already made and payoff the lowest balance amount (furniture)
5) now that one of the credit card is paid off, work on the next lowest balance..continue until is all off your list.
6) it will take some time but it will be sooner than later.
7) celebrate your freedom …
