ask for a reccommendation from a credit union or a financial planner. look for a nonprofit organization. or a government organization. there are a lot of debt consolidation scams. talk to your bank if you can.

Read ALL fine print. You should take a little time to contact the Better Business Bureau and see if there are any negative comments or if the person even exists. Do the math involved. The purpose of debt consolidation is to save a little money, and a lot of headaches. There are several non-profit organizations out there. There is CareOne, and they show commercials all the time. Just don’t resort to consolidation loans because they can be crooked as hell.
